Basic VET in Graphic Arts is the entry point to the industry for young people who want to learn a trade working with their hands. General education is combined with practical workshops in design, printing and graphic production.

Over the two years, students come into contact with the materials, machines and digital tools used in the day-to-day industry, building a solid foundation to continue studying or enter the job market.

Basic VET gives access to any Intermediate VET cycle.

How we
work.

Learning happens by doing. Each unit is worked on in the workshop, with real materials and machines, in situations that reproduce actual industry work.

Academic pathway

On completion, students can continue to Intermediate VET, with reserved places in Graphic Arts family cycles, or begin entering the job market in production and finishing roles.

Printing Assistant

Support in the preparation and operation of printing machines in workshops and graphic companies.

Finishing Operative

Bookbinding, cutting, laminating and finishing tasks on printed products.

Graphic Workshop Assistant

Support in the production flow of a graphic company: materials preparation and print run control.

Reprographics Assistant

Document reproduction and preparation in copy services, digital print shops and educational centres.

Screen Printing Assistant

Collaboration in screen printing production on textiles, cardboard and other substrates.

Further studies

Direct access to Intermediate VET in Graphic Printing or Digital Prepress without entrance tests.
